The details on this model are incredible and it is definitely a must-have for any Gundam fan. The runner includes 12 pieces and the stickers for Falmer Squadron add an extra touch of authenticity. Assemble this bad boy with caution because once you do, you won’t be able to stop admiring it. Trust me, my friend Bob couldn’t take his eyes off of it when he came over. Hats off to you, Bandai Spirits Hobby!
2) When I first saw the size of this 11.89-inch Gundam model, I was a little intimidated. But after easily following the instruction manual, I had an impressive display piece that even my wife couldn’t complain about taking up too much space (she’s usually not a fan of my hobbies). The package dimensions were perfect for storing and displaying without being too bulky. And let’s not forget about all the cool armaments included – two Zaku machine guns, a bazooka, anti-ship rifle, and heat Hawk? Talk about an epic battle scene! Kudos to Bandai Spirits Hobby for creating such a high-quality product.
3) Wowza! Talk about bringing back some nostalgia from my childhood days watching the original Gundam TV series. The red Zaku used by Char Aznable is one of my all-time favorite mechas and now I have it sitting right on my shelf thanks to Bandai Spirits Hobby. I, Johnny, recently got my hands on the Bandai Hobby – Mobile Suit Gundam – #234 MS-06S Zaku II model kit and let me tell you, I am blown away! As a huge fan of the Gundam series, I was ecstatic to see this iconic suit get updated for its 40th anniversary. The attention to detail in this kit is amazing and it was a blast putting it together. Plus, being able to recreate scenes from the original anime series with this Zaku and my HGUC #191 RX-78-2 model is just too cool.
My friend Stacy also got her own Bandai Hobby model kit, and she chose the Char’s Zaku as well. We had a friendly competition to see who could build it faster and I have to say, I won! But Stacy was so impressed with the design elements of this kit that allowed for expressive articulation. She loved how she could build the skirt armor using either soft material or individual pieces for different appearances. And let’s not forget about all the weapons included – Zaku Machine Gun, Heat Hawk, and Bazooka – we had a blast posing our models in battle scenes.
